Working as a Door Supervisor is a responsible position therefore it is vital to master new skills. Door Supervisor Top-Up training training will enable you to catchup with the changing private security industry, staying competitive with the best security staff in the UK. This training Course is for anyone who is currently working as a Door Supervisor and needs to renew their SIA licence.
The new changes introduced to SIA Licensing in April 2021 have become a central part of daily life for security professionals. Licensed security professionals are now required to take Top-Up Upskill Training to make sure they have this knowledge when renewing their SIA Licence. Mastering these new skills means you’re able to better protect the public, property, and yourself. With SIA Top-Up Training, you’re honing your skills, while keeping people safe against new risks as they emerge.
The course runs over 3 days and is divided into 3 units:
Unit 1: Principle of Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry.
Unit 2: Principles of Using Equipment as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry
Unit 3: Application of physical intervention skills in the private security industry
Once you completed training and passed the exam, you will receive your licence issued by the SIA (Security Industry Authority), you can then work in a number of security roles, static guarding, manned guarding, key holding to name a few. These security roles can be in a wide range of industries which include construction sites, schools and colleges to bars, clubs and event security.
Eligibility Requirements:
To Enroll on SIA course pre-requisite is Distance Learning booklet, English language proficiency at Level and Emergency First Aid.

UK Driving License or Biometric Residence Permit
2 Proofs of address: Bank statement, Utility Bills or University, NHS, HMRC letter.
2 Passport Size Photographs.
